Yes, because of the CSR Christmas Card thing I wasn't here to change levels and realize the map hadn't uploaded correctly. So we can do it next weekend. Or during the week if you'd prefer. Again, sorry about this...with the confusion of the evening I didn't realize it wasn't on the server until 9:20PM.

There's an interesting article on Business2.com talking about Counter-Strike and it's incredible popularity from nothing in the beginning. Like an accidental blockbuster. Here's a snippet on that (This is a badly translated article so bare with it):

Le, however, didn't just create new characters; he evolved Half-Life into an entirely new game. In mod lingo, it's called total conversion, or TC. While the original featured a fairly conventional run-and-gun experience known as a death match, Le's Counter-Strike has a new theme -- counterterrorists vs. terrorists -- and introduces cooperative team play and a virtual economy in which players earn money to buy better weapons. Le did all the art and most of the sound design himself, and with some programming help from a loose network of unpaid hacker friends, he completed a beta version in six months.

Narby tells CS-Nation that like DE_Aztec he has done a whole load of changes on DE_Inferno for CS version 1.6. The only major thing he didn't change was the gameplay (thank God). Here's a look at it:

Joe has taken CS_Siege and turned it into cs_siege_10_de with the APC back again, the sniper tower is back, and it is a DE_ objective to even out the gameplay for CTs. Although, in my opinion this made the gameplay worse (if you look at where the bombsites are you'll agree). Anyway, everyone's favourite APC is back so that should be great fun!

removed hostages and hostage rescue zones

added two bombsites: bridge at CT and underground near elevator bottom

added a large bombsite indicator sprite at each bombsite

moved T spawns out to garage so they don't get trapped in base

added spawns for up to 32 players

added small easter egg banner

This forum is to discuss Server related issues between server admins.
For instance cheaters. This way we have some where to discuss certain issues like you took a Demo think someone is cheating but are not 100% sure. We can use this forum to discuss things like this between the Server admins before we react in an incorrect manor. This has nothing to do with the Lord Fluff matter I have not even looked at the demo yet. And hell after reading and editing his post I just may not!!!!

Well we have 1.3 running on our csradio cs server hosted by the guys at ReconGamer (who had the server updated as soon as it came out) and I have to tell you.. Voice makes it A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT GAME... let me say that again Voice makes it A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT GAME... People running around yelling out "hes in the tunnel" or my favorite "I just had your mom" Teamwork is at an all time high. Headshots are showing up a lot more (crouch now bitch) and for 1 day we had no cheats (damn guys are quick with the cheats) More to come during the show this Sunday... Oh and Eric... lets get a auto updating hl.exe file so you can change registers every other day... but that would be asking too much..
