Ave, readers!
As everyone knows, there has been a fair few CS 1.6 previews popping up before it's release tomorrow. But looking through all the previews for 1.6, the bullet shield cannot help but bring one thought to my mind.
Does everyone remember the Asterix comics, where the Romans always advance with their shields locked about each other like a big turtle? And then the Gauls would run straight through it? Looking at some of the pictures, I think if people are organised enough we really could see turtles of CTs advancing. I suppose it's something we'll have to play the game to find out about, but it sounds damn funny to me. You might be able to kill off all your opponents while they're on the floor laughing.
All the game needs is a spear to be added and you could call it Roman-Strike.

No, u cant pick up the shield at all wit the dualies :( :( :(
and ramp, yea u can buy any pistol wit the shield. but trust me, since u go out of cover to shoot its not that effective even if you're an expert wit the deagle. |

I think you'd need a lot of shields and CT's to do something close to that. Plus, everybody would have to have good teamwork. Something never seen on the CSR server :P . I've heard you can buy any pistol with the shield, not just the USP. Grrr... deagle + shield = gay. |
