The Riot Shield will block AWP fire completely when it hits the shield. It's possible that there is a bug of some kind in the build at the CPL, but it will be addressed before the 1.6 beta is live.Also, ShackNews has poasted up a few new screenshots of Condition Zero and FileShack has a 1 minute clip of CS: CZ which is worth a look.
